Our story
A lifetime of caring. A deep love of animals.
I’m Rosemary Lamb, the founder of Rosee Posey Paws.
Animals have always held a special place in my life. Their companionship, their individual personalities and the trust they place in us make caring for them deeply meaningful.
When their lives draw to a close, that love remains. We want to be beside them, to understand what they need and to offer whatever care we can. We are also facing our own sadness, uncertainty and the prospect of saying goodbye.
I created Rosee Posey Paws with both sides of that relationship in mind: the animal who needs our care, and the person who loves them.
A life shaped by care
Before my career in aromatherapy, I spent 11 years working as a paramedic in London. It was an extraordinary part of my life, spent alongside people during vulnerable and often difficult moments.
That commitment to care continued through more than 20 years of professional aromatherapy practice. My work has included creating and blending essential oils, creams and other aromatherapy products, and directing a company delivering aromatherapy products and services to people in aged care residences across Australia.
Working in aged care, dementia and palliative care settings has deepened my appreciation of the individual: their needs, their preferences and the importance of treating them with dignity.
These experiences have shaped the thought and intention I bring to Rosee Posey Paws.
Bringing my love of animals into my work
My lifelong interest in animals led me to the UK to study with Caroline Ingraham, the founder of Applied Zoopharmacognosy.
My qualifications include a Diploma in Applied Zoopharmacognosy for Equine and Small Animals, a Diploma in Wholistic Aromatherapy, a Graduate Diploma in Healing Therapies and a Certificate of Massage in Eastern and Western Therapies.
This study brought together two enduring interests in my life: working with botanicals and caring for animals. It also strengthened my respect for their individuality and the attention we need to give to their responses.
Why Rosee Posey Paws?
Rosee Posey Paws grew from a wish to bring peace, presence and tenderness to the final chapter of an animal’s life, while acknowledging everything that time means for their person.
There are practical acts of care, and there are moments when simply being together matters. A familiar voice. Quiet company. Time to pause and recognise the bond you share.
The collection was created to have a thoughtful place within that time, with essential oil blends, aromatic sprays, Transition Blend Massage Oil and Soothing Skin Balm.
At its heart are three intentions:
Comfort. A time to share the love you have.
Care. A time to love.
Connection. A time to honour your deep emotional connection.
These words express what I hope Rosee Posey Paws will mean to the people who welcome it into their lives.
Respect for animals, in everything we do
Animal welfare is deeply important to me. I am a member of Animals Australia and the Animal Justice Party, and I stand firmly against animal cruelty.
Rosee Posey Paws products are Australian-made and vegan. We do not test our products on animals or support businesses that do.
That respect also means recognising the place of veterinary care. Our products are not a substitute for veterinary treatment or professional guidance about your companion’s needs.
For the love that stays with us
Saying goodbye to an animal we love is profoundly personal. There is no single way to experience it, and no product can take away the sadness of losing them.
My hope is that Rosee Posey Paws offers a thoughtful way to express care, make room for closeness and honour the life you have shared.
Thank you for being here.
With warmth,
Rosemary
